My name is Constancia Annette, Connie Ann, Casseday. I was born on June 21, 1991 in Coral Springs, Florida. I moved to Charlotte, NC when I was a kid and lived here ever since.
One interesting fact about me is that I’m named after both of my grandmothers. Another interesting fact is that I’m part of the St. Gelais families of North America. Cool huh?
I done many things in my life. I was in Jr ROTC in High School. I was awesome enough to get my S-1 adjutant and Cadet Captain rank when I graduated high school. I even made the school battalion patch which will be worn on every uniform in that school till either the program or the school shuts down. I doubled up high school and college at the same time during my junior and senior years just to get a head start. Now that I think about it. I was all over the place… Going to school, then doing stuff for JROTC after school, then college after that, didn’t get home till really late, did both my college and high school homework/projects, and still found enough time to play games… I even taught classes at my church every Sunday.
I am the daughter of Steven Thomas Casseday, who passed away on July 20th, 2011 from Colon/Liver Cancer. He was always my greatest inspiration and hero and I will miss him dearly. He was the one who aided my passion for video games as long as I can remember.
I always wanted to do something with in the video game field, but sadly I’m not the greatest artist or storyteller. I’m just me, selling video games to other gamers and go home and play them myself. I mean, I can probably do lore or something. I love anything that is history or mythological related. But here I am blogging about them… Or trying at least.
My biggest wish was to travel the world, look at old buildings, go to conventions, cosplay, etc. Especially with my dad, because he always wanted to travel the world and see neat things. Big time when it came to cars. My dad was a mechanic before he got hurt so he got to fix up cars to trucks. Which I thought was the coolest thing ever. I tried my hardest to get his wish, but ever since he messed up his spine at work it didn’t happen.
I love video games. No just because they are fun to play. Its away for me to escape the reality of life sometimes. When life dragged me down, I just sink into a story of someone else. May it be the Hero Link from The Legend of Zelda or Booker Dewitt from BioShock Infinite. My appreciation for the art of storytelling just made me love video games.
I have a small collection of game systems from my PC. This is where you can catch me on steam, Pharaohsis. I also have a PlayStation 3 and a PS Vita where everything my computer can’t handle it goes on there. My PSN is Pharaohsis. Lastly, I have a 3DS. I love it a lot. It’s the one that I got from Nintendo of America itself from a contest. You can totally friend me on that too: 1633-4183-2977! I hope to see you guys on there!
